COMPANY NEWS | EWG VERIFIED® CASE STUDY
REACH24H is pleased to announce that Momcozy's Pro-Collagen Belly Firming Moisturizer has earned the EWG VERIFIED® mark following review by the Environmental Working Group (EWG). REACH24H supported Momcozy with application preparation, technical assessment, documentation support, and follow-up throughout the project.
The product is now listed in EWG's Skin Deep® cosmetics database with EWG VERIFIED® status. The listing confirms that EWG reviewed the product against the applicable program criteria and authorized it to use the EWG VERIFIED® mark.
This achievement reflects Momcozy's focus on ingredient safety and formula transparency. It also demonstrates REACH24H's experience in helping brands prepare the technical and documentary materials required for EWG review.

A Verified Result for Momcozy's Personal Care Portfolio
Momcozy is a global one-stop maternity and baby-care brand committed to putting moms first. Its products support mothers and families across pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, outings, baby care, and parenting. According to Momcozy's global sales data, more than five million moms worldwide had chosen the brand as of December 2025.
The Pro-Collagen Belly Firming Moisturizer extends Momcozy's personal care offering for mothers. According to Momcozy, the product combines multi-peptides with nine nourishing botanicals and uses its Fresh-Lock Oil-in-Cream technology to deliver intensive moisture with a fast-absorbing feel. It is designed to improve the appearance of skin smoothness and firmness and visibly reduce the appearance and discoloration of stretch marks. The product is suitable for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum.
For personal care brands, an EWG VERIFIED® application requires more than achieving a green Skin Deep® product score. Formula details, ingredient identities, disclosures, labeling, manufacturing information, and supporting documentation may all need to be assessed against the current program criteria. Gaps identified during review can result in additional questions, documentation requests, label changes, or formula adjustments.
Momcozy's successful result demonstrates the value of preparing these elements as a coordinated application package rather than treating ingredient screening as a standalone step.
How REACH24H Supported the EWG VERIFIED® Application
For this project, REACH24H worked with Momcozy to organize the technical and documentary elements required for EWG review. The support included:
assessing the product category and application readiness;
screening the formula and reviewing ingredient names and relevant disclosures;
identifying information gaps and coordinating the required product and supplier documentation;
reviewing application materials for consistency across the formula, ingredient information, and label; and
supporting follow-up during EWG review, including responses to technical or documentary questions.
This coordinated approach helped the project team address potential issues before and during the formal review. It also gave the brand a clearer view of which formula, label, supplier, and manufacturing records should be maintained after verification.
REACH24H provides application support and compliance consulting for EWG VERIFIED® projects. EWG is responsible for the final product review and authorization to use the EWG VERIFIED® mark.
What Does EWG VERIFIED® Mean for a Personal Care Product?
EWG VERIFIED® is a voluntary, product-level mark developed by the Environmental Working Group. It is not a government certification and does not replace the legal requirements that apply to a cosmetic or personal care product in its target market.
Under EWG's personal care product criteria, relevant requirements include a green Skin Deep® product score, the absence of ingredients on EWG's unacceptable list, compliance with restrictions on specified ingredients, full ingredient transparency, labeling expectations, and current good manufacturing practices. A product with a green Skin Deep® score does not automatically qualify for the mark; the full set of applicable criteria and documentation requirements still needs to be met.
Because EWG may update its criteria and ingredient lists, brands should confirm the current requirements before applying and review later formula, label, supplier, or manufacturing changes for their potential effect on verified status.
Practical Lessons for Brands Preparing an Application
The Momcozy project highlights several practical priorities for personal care companies considering EWG VERIFIED®:
Start with product eligibility. Confirm that the product falls within an eligible category and assess the complete formula before committing to the application pathway.
Resolve ingredient identity and disclosure questions early. Standardized ingredient names, complete composition information, and fragrance disclosure can be central to the review.
Connect the formula, label, and supporting records. Inconsistencies across these materials can create avoidable questions during assessment.
Engage suppliers before documentation becomes urgent. Supplier records may be needed to support ingredient identity, restrictions, concentration, manufacturing information, or other technical points.
Plan for post-verification changes. Formula, label, supplier, and manufacturing updates should be assessed before implementation to determine whether notification, reassessment, or further documentation may be required.
