How to Protect Your EU REACH Registration Number?

The registration number is a necessary condition for enterprises to enter the EU market, and it's very difficult to distinguish whether the registration number is true or not in the industry sometimes. Generally, importers with strong compliance awareness will actively contact their only representative (OR) to confirm the authenticity of the REACH document. REACH24H also received many inquiries from importers, and in the process of authenticity on registration number, we deed identified a number of "forged" documents. Among the most common compliance documents, Confirmation Letter of REACH Registration, Submission Report, and REACH Compliance Import Certificate are the most frequently forged. Even importers have repeatedly received tampered REACH documents. REACH24H's RSCC system is a platform designed to help enterprises meet the requirements of REACH regulations. Its principles  can be summarized as follows: OR does not recognize the information confirmed by non-trade parties; OR will not be responsible for the records generated by non-actual trade. In other words, the RSCC system will record the actual trade generated by both two trading parties and assume the responsibility of OR based on the confirmation of both parties, fulfill the REACH compliance obligations, and ensure that customers' registration numbers are not misused nor abused. Manufacturers can actually connect with them through the RSCC system to avoid illegal transmission of numbers. Following the requirements established by the EU REACH supply chain management, REACH24H developed the RSCC system (REACH SUPPLY CHAIN COMPLIANCE SYSTEM) to resolve REACH regulatory issues among enterprises in the product supply chain. The system is responsible for managing, storing and transmitting tonnage coverage information and REACH compliance documents, intelligently judging the effectiveness of substances and products, and registering the tonnage availability. It can ensure a timely communication among non-EU producers, distributors, and EU importers on the upstream and downstream sides of the trade chain, and to ensure the security of information during transmission and storage. In 2019, RSCC was ushered into the 4.0 era. The upgraded management system now supports multiple companies' online management at the same time, making it a suitable tool for multi-companies, group companies, sister companies and other business operating within the REACH framework. The same corporate account can cover more roles in the trade chain, supporting diversified trade such as material exports, raw material procurement, domestic sales, diversified trade such as export after processing, while at the same time easily respond to the multiple and complex identities of British companies after Brexit. This system offers advanced and efficient management, where manufacturers can release registration information to downstream, so compliance data is transmitted point-to-point. This effectively prevents the misuse of registration numbers and the tampering of compliance documents, keeping information safe throughout the entire trade chain. While reducing the risk of theft through strict procedures, REACH24H also reminds companies to be cautious when providing documents that contain complete registration number information to downstream companies that have not confirmed their trading status . Even if trade actually takes place, it is recommended that the holders of the registration numbers use RSCC to manage downstream users and to pass on tonnage coverage certificates. At the same time, downstream enterprises are reminded to confirm the authenticity of compliance documents with OR in time to protect their rights.
