Effective in July: Get Ready for Changes to Taiwan's Cosmetic Regulations

On July 1, 2019, Taiwan brought the Cosmetic Hygiene and Safety Act, its overarching cosmetic regulation, into force. This regulation replaced the previous Statute for Control of Cosmetic Hygiene, changing cosmetic categories from general and medicated cosmetics to general and specific purpose cosmetics. Additionally, the updated regulatory framework introduced a new administrative system with compliance requirements for both general and specific purpose cosmetics. As per the Cosmetic Hygiene and Safety Act, the category of specific purpose cosmetics will be discontinued as of July 1, 2024. Consequently, Taiwan's cosmetic regulations will undergo changes pertaining to ingredient lists, pre-market notification, PIF, GMP, and product labeling. To help global stakeholders navigate the forthcoming changes, ChemLinked has organized this webinar.
