Background
While the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulations Act of 2022 (MoCRA) has reshaped cosmetic compliance at the federal level, regulatory developments across individual U.S. states are creating additional compliance challenges for cosmetic companies.
States such as California, Washington, and New York have introduced or are developing their own requirements covering ingredient restrictions, PFAS bans, product reporting obligations, labeling requirements, and other product-specific regulations. As state legislation continues to evolve, companies marketing cosmetics in the U.S. must stay informed of both federal and state-level requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
In this webinar, Lily Li, Senior Regulatory Specialist at REACH24H, will provide an overview of the current U.S. state cosmetic regulatory landscape, highlight key legislative trends, and discuss practical compliance considerations for international cosmetic companies.
