Shanghai administration details temporary permit for imported unregistered infant formula and health food

  • Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation specified details on temporary permits available to stakeholders that wish to display unregistered infant formula and health food in this year’s CIIE.

 

On Sep. 30th, 2019, Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation issued notification No.378-2019 to give details about temporary license for exhibitors looking to display unregistered infant formula and unregistered health food products at the second China International Import Expo (CIIE). Content of the notification goes as follows:

 

1. Applicable entities

Qualified and accredited enterprises that produce/sell infant formula or health food in countries of origin.

 

2. Applicable products
1) imported health foods that should undergo registration but haven’t gained the certificate of registration yet.
2) imported infant formula that haven’t gained certificate of recipe registration issued by SAMR.
