Background
The Law on Chemicals (Law No. 06/2007/QH12), since its implementation on July 1, 2008, has covered regulatory requirements for the production, trade, import and export, transportation, storage, use, and disposal of industrial chemicals in Vietnam. In April 2024, Vietnam notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of the Draft Chemical Law (amended) for a 60-day comment period. As scheduled, the new law will be adopted on May 1, 2025, and subsequently enter into force on May 1, 2026. It has garnered attention within the industry.
Hence, this webinar will focus on the current management framework of industrial chemicals in Vietnam and the latest progress in the draft amendment to help enterprises familiarize themselves with chemical management in Vietnam and accurately plan compliance strategies in the Vietnam market.
