The deadline for notification of existing biocidal substances of K-BPR is 30 June of 2019, which overlaps with the notification time of chemical substances K-REACH. Active substance with relevant product types which is notified and approved before the deadline will be included in the existing biocide active substances list. The corresponding substances/products would enjoy a buffer period up to 10 years to be placed in the Korea market！ If manufacturers or formulators do not notify for existing biocidal substances by 30 June of 2019, they will have to stop placing the biocidal products in the Korea market by January of 2020. In conclusion, the notification deadline 30 June of 2019 for existing biocidal substance is approaching soon, only THREE months left. And now is the high time for the manufacturers or formulators to take quick action to prepare the notifications in order to win the 10 years buffer period for your biocidal products.
