On November 7, 2017, China CFDA issued a statement clarifying that necessary print article, such as a printed package of desiccant, can be added in prepackaged food for the sake of food packaging, transportation and storage. The content indicated on print article must be in line with China Food Safety Law and other related regulations, and it cannot replace the contents that shall be labeled on outer package. Besides, print article directly contacting with food must be safe and do no harm to people’s health. It shall comply with relevant food product standards and General Safety Requirements for Food Contact Materials and Articles (GB 4806.1-2016). Read More.
